Welcome to the FYM06 blog page.  This blog is going to be used to keep you updated on what's happening within the FYM program, any items you need to be made aware of, and a bunch of stuff to help get you ready to go.  We about have all teams full now, with the exception of Mexico.  We've had to shut down our Philadelphia site because of low numbers and a shake up with our staff.  We are excited for each one of you!  The pictures in this article are of me while in Kenya (I'm the old guy in there) and Vicki while she was in England with our FYM teams.

There are about 70 of you who will be going out in September.  We are less than 4 months away from training camp.  Some of you are doing great at raising the support needed, others of you need to get going.  We don't want you to get to August and realize you still need an additional $4,000 to raise.  On this site we will give you support tips and you can interact and comment on what you've done and how it has worked.

As we post different things we will also be posting some Bible Study questions.  We want you to be prepared to go out and minister.  We want you to be clean, purging any junk from your lives, throwing off anything that hinders your walk so you are free to serve.  Satan doesn't like the fact that you are going to do this, so he's going to be throwing stuff at you to get

you distracted and discouraged.  Don't give in to his tactics.  Clothe yourselves with the spiritual armor you need daily.  Don't even give him a foothold.  As we post the questions, we would like you each to post responses.  You need to sign up for update alerts and post something at least once a week.  I know that may be a stretch for some of you, for others it won't be a problem at all.  But we want everyone to post something on a weekly basis.

God is going to use each one of you this year in ways you can't even imagine.   Our current FYM's are finishing up and share with us that they have grown so much over the year.  They are coming back completely changed.  Many are having a hard time coming home and saying goodbye to those they have come to know and love. 

My prayer is that you will be open to whatever God wants to do with your life.  I thank the Lord for each of you and look forward to more interaction with you as you prepare for this coming year.
