I am aware that some of you are having troubles with the luggage guidelines.
Domestic and International flights are allowing
ONLY 50 POUNDS PER SUITCASE with a total of TWO suitcases
These are new guidelines that have just been issued.

Things to keep in mind:

  • At Training Camp you will be receiving your books for the year and they will total around 10 pounds.
You are responsible to pick up your books at training camp and put them in your suitcase to take with you.
You need to allow for that extra weight.
  • You will need a sleeping bag for training camp.
We recommend that you take this with you because from time to time you will travel as a team to do weekend things and a sleeping bag comes in handy.
You will want to take twin sheets, blanket and pillow to use everyday.
I do not think anyone wants to sleep in a sleeping bag for 9 months.
  • You will be tent camping for training camp.
The ground gets hard; you will want an air mattress.
You will not need the air mattress in country.

  • NOTHING can be left at training camp for future pick up.
Anything left here will be given away, thrown away or used for future training camps.
You need to make arrangements, on your own, of what to do with anything that you do not wish to take in country.
