Time is rapidally approaching for departure.  I am getting excited to meet all of you and have you here for Training Camp.  But more importantly, I am excited to watch you grow and change in your relationship to God through out the year.  God is going to do amazing things in each one of you this coming year.  

Keep reading Daniel and posts your insights.  This is going to help you in great ways to get your ready for this coming year.  It has been good to see all the postings and encouragement you have been giving to each other.  Keep it up!

A FEW DETAILS:

PAPERWORK:

All your paperwork needs to be in by now, was due on July 1.   There is so much that we need to do to get your files in order before you go.  It takes time on our part to get them in order.  You can not give us paperwork at Training Camp and think we can process it.  It will NOT happen.  If your file is not complete, we can not send you!  Get the forms in immediately!  You do not have to have your flight arrangement form in yet, you can wait until next week after we let you know the times of your flights.  Forms that I should have recieved:  Medical Form, Copy of Passport, Shot record and Proof of Insurance.  Get those in TODAY!

FASTING:

Dave sent out info regarding Fasting in the month of August to get ready for the trip.  I just want to encourage you in this.  Think of something that you can give up for a month.  Maybe it may be chocolate for a month or sugar completely.  It may be to give up soft drinks or maybe a fruit and vegetable diet for the month.  Some of you may have to add something like time with God each day or 15 to 20 minutes in prayer each day.  We want all of you to make some kind of commitment for the month of August.  We will break the fast for supper at training camp.  We want all of you to get involved.  Spend this next few weeks praying about what God might want you to do.  Dave and I are going to give up refined sugar completely.  We are only going to eat fruit, vegetables, meat and water.  Pray about it and see how God leads.  We would like to have each of you let us know your commitment so we can pray for you.

FLIGHTS:

The tickets will be purchased next week and the money for the tickets will come out of your support accounts.  This is just to give you a heads up.

STAYING STRONG:

This is a hard time right now to stay focused and stay strong.  Many of you will think about backing out.  Stay strong.  Don't let satan win, he will throw doubts at you and he wants nothing more then for you not to go.  Keep connected to each other and encourage each other.  We are in this together and we want to finish together.
